Dan Smith is an experienced clinician who is independently licensed in social work and chemical dependency. He has over 11 years of experience in the behavioral health field and seeks to empower those who are struggling to step into all they are called to be. Dan personally struggled with substance abuse from early middle school until he was 24 years old. He believes that his past experiences and his now 13 years of sobriety have become a platform to help others. Dan graduated from Campbellsville University with the distinction of Summa Cum Laude. He then went on to get his master’s in social work and is currently in the process of finishing his MBA at the University of Akron. His professional career started as a residential technician and quickly progressed into leadership roles while continuing to meet with and connect with the clients that he serves.
Away from work, Dan enjoys spending time in the gym, traveling, and connecting with loved ones. He is happily married with two amazing children, James and Mackenzie. He is also passionate about his faith walk and recovery journey.
