At Ray Recovery, our addiction treatment programs are designed to help people struggling with drug addiction and substance abuse. Our approach is evidence-based and recovery-oriented, focusing on providing comprehensive care for the person as a whole rather than just the addiction itself. We understand that recovery from addiction is an ongoing process and a journey of self-discovery. That’s why our recovery programs are tailored to each individual so that we can help them find the best path for their recovery.
We treat clients from our Hudson facility and, through our virtual program, from anywhere in Ohio. You can see the communities we serve across the state.
If you or someone you love is experiencing a substance use disorder and needs recovery treatment programs, contact Ray Recovery at 888.839.2606. We’re here to be a ray of hope in your journey.
Our Approach to Treatment
Our recovery services include one-on-one and group counseling sessions, information about addiction recovery resources, educational classes on stress management and coping skills, and relapse prevention training.
Some of our recovery services include:
Intensive Outpatient Program
Also called an IOP, an intensive outpatient program is for those who do not need residential treatment but still need more support than traditional outpatient. This recovery program offers a comprehensive approach to recovery with individual therapy, group counseling, and educational sessions.
Partial Hospitalization Program
The partial hospitalization program (PHP) is designed for those who need more structure in recovery than traditional outpatient or an IOP but do not need residential treatment. This program provides holistic care, including medication management, one-on-one therapy sessions, and group counseling, and meets for longer and more days than an IOP.
Virtual IOP
Our virtual IOP delivers the same clinical programming as our in person IOP, from wherever a client lives in Ohio. It exists so that distance, transportation, or a work schedule does not decide whether somebody gets clinical care.
Executive IOP
Our executive IOP is built for clients whose careers depend on discretion and whose schedules will not bend. Same clinical depth, arranged around work rather than the other way around.
Women’s Rehab
Ray Recovery offers recovery treatment programs specifically for women and focuses on recovery from drug or alcohol addiction. This program provides a supportive atmosphere where women can build relationships with their peers, gain knowledge about recovery resources, and receive expert guidance on coping with recovery challenges.
Men’s Rehab
Our recovery treatment program for men focuses on recovery from drug or alcohol addiction. It provides a supportive environment where men can work together to heal and grow, gain knowledge about recovery resources, and receive guidance on dealing with recovery challenges.
Veterans Program
Our veterans program is built for people whose substance use is tangled up with service, injury, and loss. We accept VA CCN and TRICARE.
Addiction Treatment for Professionals
Our program for professionals is designed for clinicians, attorneys, executives, and licensed tradespeople who are afraid that asking for help will cost them their career.
Whatever program suits your needs, we’re here to help. Contact us at 888.839.2606 to learn more about our programs.

What Are the Signs I Need Addiction Treatment Services?
Recognizing when outpatient addiction treatment may be necessary is crucial for individuals struggling with substance abuse. Here are some signs that may indicate the need for outpatient addiction treatment:
- Loss of Control: If someone finds themselves unable to control their substance use despite repeated attempts to quit or cut back, it could indicate a need for treatment. This loss of control might manifest as using larger amounts of the substance than intended or being unable to stop using despite negative consequences.
- Cravings: Strong and persistent cravings for drugs or alcohol, especially when not under the influence, may indicate a dependence that requires professional intervention.
- Social and Interpersonal Problems: Substance abuse can strain relationships with family, friends, and coworkers. If someone’s substance use is causing conflicts in personal or professional relationships, it may be time to seek treatment.
- Decline in Work or School Performance: A noticeable decline in work or academic performance, such as increased absenteeism, tardiness, or decreased productivity, could be a sign of substance abuse interfering with daily functioning.
- Financial Issues: Substance abuse can lead to financial problems due to spending excessive amounts of money on drugs or alcohol. If someone is experiencing financial difficulties as a result of their substance use, it may be time to seek help.
- Legal Problems: Involvement in legal issues related to substance abuse, such as DUI arrests or drug-related offenses, often indicates a need for treatment.
- Physical and Mental Health Issues: Substance abuse can lead to a range of physical and mental health problems, including chronic health conditions, mood swings, anxiety, depression, and cognitive impairment. If someone is experiencing these issues, addressing the underlying substance abuse problem is essential for their well-being. Where a mental health condition sits underneath the substance use, both need treating together.
- Failed Attempts to Quit: Multiple unsuccessful attempts to quit or cut back on substance use on one’s own may indicate a need for professional help.
- Withdrawal Symptoms: Experiencing withdrawal symptoms when attempting to stop using drugs or alcohol is a clear sign of physical dependence and often necessitates medical supervision during detoxification and treatment.
- Loss of Interest in Hobbies or Activities: A decrease in participation in previously enjoyed activities or hobbies may indicate that substance use has taken precedence over other aspects of life.
If someone exhibits one or more of these signs, it’s essential to encourage them to seek help from a qualified addiction treatment professional. Outpatient addiction treatment programs offer flexible and comprehensive care options designed to address the individual needs of each person seeking recovery from substance abuse.
What Are the Benefits of Drug Rehab?
Drug rehab can provide life-changing support that can make all the difference in your recovery journey. Here are some of the top reasons why professional addiction treatment services can help:
- Support: Addiction treatment services provide invaluable support to help you navigate the path to recovery. There will be many ups and downs, but with the guidance of knowledgeable, compassionate professionals, you can maintain your progress and keep moving forward.
- Effective therapies: Evidence-based and holistic therapeutic interventions can equip you with essential tools to help you overcome addiction and maintain sobriety long-term. From uncovering the underlying causes of your addiction to developing healthy coping skills, you can build a strong foundation for your recovery with effective therapy.
- Accountability: Drug rehab provides a sense of accountability that can help you maintain your sobriety. Through individual and group therapy, you will develop a strong support system who will help you through challenging moments and keep you on the path to sustained recovery.
These three crucial components can greatly enhance your recovery journey for healthy, long-lasting change.
What We Do Not Offer
We do not provide medical detox or residential inpatient care. We say that plainly because knowing it up front saves people time when they are already short of it.
If you need to detox safely before beginning an outpatient program, call us anyway. We will help you find a detox provider near you and take you into our program once you are medically stable.
Paying for Treatment
Most people call convinced they cannot afford this. Often they can.
We work with most major insurers and accept Medicaid and Medicare. You can verify your benefits in a few minutes. It is confidential, it does not obligate you to anything, and it is not reported to your employer.
If cost is still the barrier, say so on the phone. We hold scholarship funding for people who cannot cover treatment.
Why Choose Ray Recovery
Ray Recovery is accredited by the Joint Commission and licensed by the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services. An outside body reviews our clinical standards, our safety practices, and our records.
Our clinical team is made up of licensed independent social workers, chemical dependency counselors, and medical staff. Every page on this site is medically reviewed before it is published. You can read more about who we are.
Common Questions About Our Treatment Programs
What addiction treatment programs do you offer in Ohio?
We offer partial hospitalization (PHP), intensive outpatient (IOP), virtual IOP, executive IOP, and gender specific rehab programs for men and women, along with veterans and professionals tracks.
What is the difference between PHP and IOP?
PHP meets for more hours and more days each week and provides a higher level of structure, including medication management. IOP offers serious clinical support with more flexibility, so clients can keep working or studying.
Do you offer detox or inpatient treatment?
No. We are an outpatient provider. If you need medical detox first, call us and we will help you find a provider, then take you into our program once you are stable.
Can I do treatment online?
Yes. Our virtual IOP delivers the same clinical program remotely to clients anywhere in Ohio.
How long do your programs last?
Program length depends on clinical need rather than a fixed schedule. Your clinician builds an individual plan and adjusts it as you progress.
Will my insurance cover treatment?
We accept Medicaid, Medicare, and most major commercial plans. Verifying your benefits takes a few minutes and does not obligate you to anything.
Is treatment confidential?
Yes. Treatment is protected under federal privacy law and your employer is not notified.
