Dr. Riaz Rahman

CHIEF MEDICAL DIRECTOR

Dr. Rahman is board-certified in internal medicine and psychiatry and has a combined 24 years of experience practicing in both fields. His scope of practice includes all ages and all spheres of mental illness, including anxiety, depression, schizophrenia, substance abuse, post-traumatic stress disorder, personality disorders, gender identity disorders, and more. Dr. Rahman graduated from Dow Medical University with honors and received his medical degree. Having completed his two residencies in the USA, he actively serves in direct medical and psychiatric care. In addition, he has fulfilled the role of directorships at various institutions, hospitals, and long-term care facilities. 

Nancy L. Esposito

RN, MSN, NEBC, CDCA | EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

With over 25 years of nursing practice and operational leadership, Nancy Esposito has a proven record of success providing leadership in the field of inpatient and outpatient care. Nancy has driven operational processes and change by chipping away at the barriers to person-centered services and systems that have defined her professional passion and priorities. Nancy is a forward thinker with a positive attitude and boundless energy to encourage others to work hard and succeed. She is inspired by her son, Nathan Esposito, her daughter, Madison Esposito, and her two labs, Bria and Lucciano. In her free time, she enjoys kayaking, running, riding her bike (Peloton), and spending time with her family and friends. 

Angie Sowers

LPCC-S, LICDC-CS | CLINICAL DIRECTOR

Angie Sowers has worked in mental health counseling and addiction treatment for over 22 years. She obtained a master’s degree in clinical counseling from Ashland University, Ashland, Ohio. She holds two independent licenses with supervision designation in the state of Ohio as well: licensed professional clinical counselor (LPCC-S) and licensed independent chemical dependency counselor (LICDC-CS). Her professional experience includes individual outpatient counseling, group counseling, chemical dependency treatment, EAP counseling, SAP-certified drug-free workplace testing, and assessment. She also works as a professor in the addiction counseling graduate program at Walsh University. Angie is passionate about working with individuals on their unique journey toward sobriety and wholeness. She especially enjoys mentoring new counselors and improving collaborative service provision in innovative, evidence-based treatment. Away from work, Angie enjoys traveling, hiking, camping, yoga, and spending time with friends and family. She resides in North Canton, Ohio, with her three children and her mini dachshund, Dottie. 

Cris Prillaman

BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT OFFICER

Cris Prillaman has over 15 years of experience in skilled nursing and inpatient and outpatient treatment. Her specialty is connecting people with the services they need. She is motivated by her deep love and concern for everyone she meets. Whether at a chamber of commerce event, speaking with potential clients, or in the boardroom, Cris brings comfort, clarity, and connection. In her free time, Cris enjoys laughing with her husband, playing with her Boston terrier, Knuckles, and drawing and painting. 

Diana Miller

LICDC-CS | Counselor

Diana Miller, LICDC-CS, is a Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor who is admired and highly regarded as a powerful change agent and an advocate for ex-offenders and substance abusers. Diana is a strong catalyst for personal and organizational change to support recovery and re-entry activities that lead to success and helps to reduce recidivism and relapse. Diana holds a bachelor’s degree from Walsh University in Business Management, is a has been working in the field since 1985 and has worked in correctional facilities for adults, outpatient treatment programs for both adults and adolescents, inpatient programs, medically monitored detox, Medication Assistance programs and halfway houses. Diana has conducted outreach in various prison systems, provided training for parole officers on helping clients with relapse prevention strategies and other community organizations who support ex-offenders and substance abusers. In her spare time, she likes to spend time with her two dogs and grandkids.
