As the Founder and CEO of Blue Shore Human Resources, Allison Cohen leads a team that provides outsourced HR services to growing companies. Blue Shore partners with businesses to serve as an external HR resource, helping leadership teams navigate compliance, employee relations, workforce strategy, and day to day people operations. Blue Shore supports the Ray Recovery team as its outsourced HR partner, providing ongoing guidance and operational support.
Blue Shore is headquartered in New York with a branch office in Chicago and provides services to businesses across the United States. The firm specializes in HR services for healthcare organizations, nonprofits, and small to mid sized businesses that need experienced HR guidance without building a full internal HR department. The team focuses on practical, hands-on HR support that strengthens workplace structure, supports leadership, and helps businesses build sustainable teams.
Prior to founding Blue Shore, Allison was Chief of Staff for a Chicago based logistics brokerage, where she oversaw HR and administrative functions at the executive level. Her experience working closely with leadership teams shaped Blue Shore’s approach of combining HR strategy with operational practicality to support companies as they grow.
In addition to leading Blue Shore, Allison advises boards and leadership teams on workforce challenges, compliance considerations, and long term organizational planning. She also serves on the Board of Directors for Resilience, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting survivors of sexual assault through trauma-informed services ranging from crisis response to long-term healing and recovery.
