Experiencing a substance use disorder (SUD) does not make you a failure or less of a person. This condition does not discriminate, unlike many people who unfortunately look down on people living with a substance addiction. Your life means just as much as anyone else’s, and you deserve to realize a brighter tomorrow. When you’re walking in the darkness by yourself, all you need is a ray of light to help you find the way back.
Ray Recovery, located in nearby Hudson, Ohio, is a reliable choice you can count on when you need a Chagrin Falls drug rehab center. Let our team guide you to the start of a recovery journey that helps you take charge of your life and goals. If you want to learn more about our approach to treating SUD and co-existing mental health conditions, give us a call at 888-598-6299 to get started.
What We Believe
While Ray Recovery may not be the only drug rehab near Chagrin Falls, we strongly feel we have something unique to offer. The foundations of our care are evidence-based therapies provided by experienced and knowledgeable staff members. Ray Recovery goes above and beyond to make clients feel as comfortable as possible by living out the center’s five core values.
- Compassion. The last things you’ll encounter at Ray Recovery are judgment and bad manners. We want clients to feel supported and loved at every step of their journey to sobriety.
- Integrity. We don’t keep secrets from anyone in our care. Our staff members will communicate with you and follow through on your treatment goals.
- Quality. The therapies we use are backed by peer-reviewed scientific evidence and plenty of success stories. Our facility is accredited by the state and by the Joint Commission.
- Collaboration. Successful SUD care requires trust between clients and clinic staff members. Nobody knows yourself like you do, and we respect that.
- Empowerment. We can equip you with every sobriety tool in existence, but long-lasting, meaningful recovery can only come when the client is empowered and motivated.
Program Specifics at Ray Recovery
Our Chagrin Falls drug rehab center offers outpatient SUD treatment, which simply means clients come to our facility during the day (sometimes early evenings) and are free to leave to go home at night. This arrangement works well for people who need SUD care but may not have the ability to stay overnight at a facility for days or weeks at a time.
Inpatient programs, which provide round-the-clock treatment, are sometimes necessary for individuals who are in active addiction. Withdrawal from certain substances can sometimes be severe and life-threatening. In those cases, medical personnel should closely monitor clients and intervene if necessary. Many of our clients come to our facility after completing an inpatient program for continued care.
Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP)
Partial hospitalization is the most time-intensive level of outpatient care you can get at any drug or alcohol rehab facility. Most clients enrolled in Ray Recovery’s partial hospitalization program spend around 25 hours per week at our facility. The minimum weekly time commitment for most PHPs is 20 hours.
Our PHP may be the right program for you if your home environment is stable, comfortable, and conducive to SUD recovery. The luxury of PHP is that you have plenty of time to receive a variety of different therapeutic interventions for SUD, including individual therapy, medication-assisted treatment, family therapy, group therapy, and holistic care. You might be able to continue working a part-time job while attending Ray Recovery’s PHP, which takes place during the middle of the day. Lunch is provided.
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
The level of care just below PHP is our intensive outpatient program. This tier provides many of the same therapies offered through the PHP; the only substantial difference is the time commitment. Ray Recovery’s IOP usually requires clients to spend at least nine hours per week receiving care.
The IOP at our Chagrin Falls-area drug rehab offers even more flexibility than the PHP. In addition to daytime IOP care, we have evening sessions for those who have regular work routines. We also allow clients to participate in our IOP via telemedicine, meaning you can receive our premier treatment from the comfort of your own home.
Which Addictions Does Ray Recovery Treat?
Our staff has experience treating a wide array of SUDs. We recognize that the contours of SUD can vary widely based on the type of substance(s) you are using. Addictions to the following substances can be effectively treated at our Chagrin Falls drug rehab facility:
- Alcohol
- Benzodiazepines (medicine class that includes Klonopin, Xanax, Ativan, and Valium)
- Cocaine
- Fentanyl
- Heroin
- Methamphetamine
- Opiates
- Opioids
- Prescription drugs
One of our center’s unique offerings is our monthly on-site Vivitrol clinic. Vivitrol is the only non-controlled substance approved by the FDA to help prevent relapse in people with opioid use disorder or dependence. Clients receive an injection every four weeks. It can also help with alcohol use disorder recovery.

What is Dual Diagnosis?
Dual diagnosis describes the treatment process for individuals who have SUD and one or more mental illnesses. Statistics have repeatedly shown that people with SUD are more likely to have a mental illness; for example, according to the National Alliance on Mental Illness, around 50% of people with a severe mental illness also live with SUD. Likewise, the National Institute on Drug Abuse’s statistics show that 38% of people with SUD also have a mental illness.
If you qualify for dual-diagnosis treatment, the best response is integrated care. That likely means we’ll provide you with multiple forms of talk therapy. Our initial assessment can help uncover previously undiagnosed mental illnesses so you can get comprehensive, effective treatment.
